MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• University degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline

Proven experience in the following skills and experiences for at least 5 years:
 Expert knowledge in the field of database installation, configuration and tuning
 Expert knowledge of ORACLE database products (v11/v12 enterprise edition)
 Expert knowledge of POSTGRES database
 Knowledge of database programming
 Knowledge of database performance monitoring and tuning
 Ability to write technical documentation in English
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
• Knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB
• Certification in the area of the database administration

TASKS

• 1st line support by phone or electronic means

• Standard administrative tasks (like adding or removing users, file system maintenance etc.)
based on procedures
• Backup and Restore Tasks based on procedures
• Call classification and call forwarding if outside scope of 1st line support
• Building, packaging and deployment of software and data releases and patches
