machining by melting and solidifying a metal

High-speed Building Metal 3D Printer
This is an entry model high-speed molding metal 3D printer equipped with a high-output fiber laser of 500 W.
This model is also equipped with a reference plane machining mechanism for secondary machining of
molded objects.
This mechanism enables positioning of the base plate and molded objects, which allows for efficient use of
existing equipment, such as electric discharge machines and cutting machines.
Molds with built-in 3D cooling piping which completely changes the mold manufacturing of plastic prod-
ucts can be manufactured, which realizes a ground-breaking performance.
This is a dedicated production cell system which demonstrates the capability of the molds with built-in 3D cool-
ing piping molded in the metal 3D printer to the utmost.
This model consists of a structure integrated with the peripheral devices required for resin molding, based on the injec-
tion molding unit of the V-LINE® method.

The OPM series is a linear motor drive precision metal 3D printer which performs additive manufacturing and
finish machining by a rotary tool in a single machine.
This machine melts and solidifies uniformly placed metal powder by laser beam irradiation, and performs high
precision finish machining by high-speed milling using a rotary tool to realize high quality finish machining
which cannot be acquired by additive manufacturing only.
The ICF-V is a next generation fully automated injection molding production system
comprised of multiple MR30s and multiple cassette molds for small plastic products.

has become the company motto of Sodick.
Overview
Sodick Singapore Techno Centre Pte Ltd (SSTC) established in 2017, is a centre to
showcase the advanced manufacturing & Sodick latest metal 3D printing machines
and technology. The SSTC is located at JTC CleanTech Park, Singapore’s first eco-
business park in Jurong Innovation District. With the collaboration with EDB and JTC,
SSTC will be providing project collaborations and services for the industry, workshops,
training to accelerate the adoption for our community.
AIM
SSTC intentions is to transfer more of metal 3D printing applications and know-hows
into Singapore manufacturing industry to drive greater industry AM adoption and
develop core capabilities towards industry 4.0.
