Learning Styles Project – Stage 1.

3. Answer the questions below. Think about your classes in general, not only your English
classes.

a. What kind of activities do you enjoy doing in class? Why?

The type of activities in class that I like most are simulation games and role-playing, because
they are simplified representations of everyday situations or direct experiences related to the
different careers of the participants in the class, becoming a playful opportunity for practicing
the vocabulary and speaking.

b. What kind of activities do you dislike doing in class? Why?

The kind of activities in class that I do not like to do are those related to listening and extracting
information from it because this process is very difficult for me.

c. Do you prefer to work alone, by pairs or in groups? Why?

I prefer group work because through collaborative work we can identify our own shortcomings
and look for strategies to solve them, in addition to recognizing aspects in which we are doing a
good job and it is possible to help our colleagues.

d. What is the most difficult language area for you when learning English? Vocabulary,
listening, speaking, reading, writing?

The most difficult linguistic is for me when it comes to learning English is listening, since this
aspect has not been strengthened much, so this academic space is a good opportunity to
improve my level.
