tooling, systems and services and there major contribution is design of PET molds, design of
Hot Runner systems and design and manufacturing of injection molding machines.
WORK DESCRIPTION
Design of hot runner systems for Medical, Automobile, Beverages & Non-Beverages,
Closure and other markets using UNIGRAPHICS.
Modeling the features using UNIGRAPHICS and creating the 3D and 2D to customer for
verifying the gate location customer features like mold latch tap, interface taps and special
cutouts for assembling the mold with the hot runner.
Creating the 2D drawing with the GD&T symbols so the features can be machined with the
tolerance with the available capability from the shop floor
Design of Thermal gate hot runner systems
Design of Valve gate hot runner systems
Design of Single drop system
Design of Unify systems
Design of Ultra hot runner systems
Performing Mold flow analysis:
Critical parts as per customer request for injection molding parts.
To fix the melt channel size & melt channel layout for family mold components
Sequential gate arrangement in Hot runner Mold and to confirm the NO. of gate
requirement for particular component.
Complete report preparation with MFR file, Warp STL file.
Extraction of feed system, cooling system from the Mould design
KEY ROLES:
Complete study of the component and critical dimensions and study of customer
requirement for hot runner systems.
Deciding the melt channel layout with respect to hot runner manufacturing and cost
Filling and Packing analysis for finalizing process parameter in mold flow analysis
Construction of Cooling system recommended for mold if requested by customer .
Compute the result and interpret the result in mold flow.
Selection of suitable material for hot runner components with respect to customer resin.
Selection of suitable nozzle tips by considering the customer inputs and finalizing the hot
runner parameters for design.

Projects worked are
NRB needle bearing inspection machine
This project is to inspect the needle in the bearing using vision inspection.
It has a jig which is mounted on the shaft in which the needles pass
through a feeder over the shaft and the needle will get inspected on the surface.
The shaft speed is controlled by a stepper motor which is mounted on the
base with a gear unit to vary speed.
The rejected component will be ejected by a mechanism using gear and
shaft.
Roller bearing inspection machine
This project is similar to the NRB bearing but the bearing is roller bearing
outer and inside of the casing.
Automated CNC Feeder
In this Project The customer request was to feed the CNC with the base of
spark plug component. The component is send to the CNC using a Pneumatic arm
like fixture which is fixed with a feeder with a motor along the side of the CNC.
The arm will pick from the feeder magazine and then place and remove from the
CNC once it is machined with a automation cycle of 45 sec(reduced 10sec from
manual work).
Designed jigs and fixtures based on the customer requirements

Preparing a chart of parameters to fulfill the objectives
Selecting the material for the components based on its performance in the machine and
its nature of work
Deciding the geometry size and structure of the machine

Test run the machine and deliver it to customer as per requirements
