Answer these following questions

1. What is the different between rasional and irrasional numbers ?

2. Is there a rational number exixts between any two rasional numbers
3. Is the a real numbers exixts between any two real numbers
4. Is the set of rational numbers countable
5. Is the set of real number countable

The answer are…

1. the different between rasional and irrasional numbers are rational numbers can be written
𝑎
in the from 𝑏 , a, b € integers and b ≠ 0. And every rational number can be written as a
repeating decimal. But in irrasional number cant do that.
2. Yes, there is a rational number.
3. Yes, there is a real number. For example we have two number a and b, b ˃ a. and x1 =
(a+b)/2 is a real number between a and b.
4. Yes, it is countable. The sum of the set of rational number is infinity.
5. Yes, it is countable. The sum of the set of real number is infinity.
