Comments:
 Salama always demonstrates consistent attendance and punctuality.
 Salama actively participates in professional activities across the school.

Comments:
 Salama verbally stated a learning goal.
 However, students were not able to explain the learning goal.
 Salama displayed an awareness of resources beyond those provided by the school, including those on
the Internet, for classroom use, and created her resources.
 However, not all learning activities were aligned with the instructional outcomes and follow an
organized progression suitable to students.
 The learning activities did not have reasonable time allocations, and Salama did not take time to go
over each planed activity.

Comments:
 Salama’s interactions were friendly and demonstrated caring and respect.
 Students understood their role as learners and showed an effort to learn.
 Classroom interactions supported learning and the use of language.
 There was a little loss of instructional time due to effective classroom routines.
 Student’s behaviour was generally appropriate.
 Salama’s response to student misbehaviour was consistent.

Comments:
 The directions and procedures were not clear and did not anticipate possible student
misunderstanding.
 The lesson did not have a clearly defined structure, and the pacing of the lesson did not provide
students the time needed not only was but also to consolidate their understanding.
 Salama did not seize an opportunity to enhance learning, building on a spontaneous students’
interests, and differentiating instructions to address individual student misunderstandings.

Comments:

Salama had a generally accurate impression of a lesson’s effectiveness and the extent to which
instructional outcomes were met and were not met.
 Salama made suggestions about how a lesson could be improved.
Salama’s Comments:
 This was my first lesson observation with my MCT. I was nervous a lot because I do 6 activities 3
centres and 3 rotation, I have 20 students, and they were hyper, so when I must do the rotation, it
wasn’t a good Idea. Also, my MCT she told me that I have good class management and my students
have good behaviour but for the next observation I will focus on explaining everything on the right I
will bring them on the mat and explain what they will do in the centres and when I will make sure that
they understand I will let them go.

 Salama must work on the improvement of all highlighted areas of the lesson.
