(Ms) No.32, Highways & Minor Ports Department, dated 25.02.2009 2) G.O (Ms)No.200, Highways & Minor Ports Department dated 810 2009 Order: in the Government Order first read above orders hdve been issued for the formation of Chennai Outer Ring Road Phase-i connecting Vandalur at NH 45 and Nemilichery at NH 205, totaling 30 Kms and administrative sanction has been accorded for the above work at a cost of Rs. 864.22 crore. In the Government Order 2" read above Revised Administrative Sanction has been accorded for Re. 1081.40 crore for the above work, 2. In continuation of the Chennai Outer Ring Road Phase-|, a proposal for taking up the 1 Phase of Chennai Outer Ring Road ai a cost of approximately Rs. 1075 croe has been received from the Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Road Development Company The Government have examined the proposal carefully and have decided to implement the Chennai Outer Ring Road Phase-l from Nemilichery at NH-205 to Minjur at Tinuvottiyur- Ponner-Parchetty Road for 32 Kms on-the same model as phase-! ie DBFOT model on annuity under Public Private Partnership. The Government have also decided to appoint Tamil Nadu Road Development Company as Managing Associate for the Project “Chennai Outer Ring Road Phase-t” ., __ 3. Accordingly sanction is accorded to implement the Chennai Outer Ring Road *Phase-li as below: @) To execute it through. funding by the State Government, on the same mod ‘Outer Ring Road -Phase-! (annuity besides 20% ‘Project Support Fund) Government reserving the right to toll and Tamil Nadu Road Development ‘Company as Managing Associate b) To take further steps through Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project fo: implementation of Outer Ring Road Phase -ll as per ihe terms of the origina: feasibility study carried out under Tami Nadu Road Sector Project. 1 4. The Expenditure sanctioned in para 2 and 3 above shall be debited to the following new head of account opened under Demand No.21-03 "5054 Capital Outlay on Roads and Bridges- 80- General-800-Other Expenditure Schemes in the Eleventh Five Year Plan- li-State -Pian- Kl ~Chennai Outer Ri Road -Phase-il 16- Major Works (DPC 5054-60-800-KI-1605)" 5. The Chief Engineer (Construction and Maintenance) is the estimating reconciling and controlling authority for the above sub-head of account. The Pay & Accounts Officer {Treasury Officer concemed are requested to open the above new sub-head in their books, 6. Necessary provisions Yor 2011-2012 will be provided in First Supplementary Estimates, 2011-2012. The Chief Eriginee: (Construction and Maintenance) s requested to incur the expenditure after the Supplementary Estimates are’ presented in the Legislative Assembly. 7.
