SPECIFIC GUIDELINES (8 - 10 SLIDES FOR A 10-MINUTE PRESENTATION):


Slide 1: Title of the Paper, your Name and the name of your adviser. Introduce yourself
and your paper shortly. – 10 sec.
Slide 2: Very short anecdote/set of facts/picture/cartoon – to grab the audience’s attention.
Brief context of the problem/issue addressed to inform the audience what made
you curious or what motivated the research. This should naturally lead to your
research question(s). (Introduction) – 60–90 seconds
Slide 3: Research aims/Research question(s). Introduce aims and/or questions – these
should follow logically from Slide 2. (objectives of the study) – 60–90 seconds
Next Slides (1-2 of them): Briefly discuss the importance that the study output may contribute
to the general well – being of the target end – users. (Significance
of the Study) – 60–90 seconds
Next Slides (1-2 of them): Briefly discuss the depth and breadth of the study, when would the
study will start and ends, where it will be conducted and discuss what limits
the study. (Scope and Limitation of the study) – 90–140 seconds
Next Slides (1-3): Discuss how will you collect and how will you analyze the data. Describe
your data collection and methodology. Discuss respondents/participants.
Discuss why you think your methods were appropriate. (Methodology) –
90–180 seconds
