Statement of Purpose

Introduction:
Goal becomes a reality when you think and try to achieve it. I always wanted to become an
independent person, though I belong to a family where discipline is considered as top most
priority. I would like to introduce myself as Nancy Karnawal born on 25 March, 2000. I am
residing with my parents in beautiful town Ludhiana, Punjab. I have completed my 10 th level
Examination from Punjab board of secondary education in March 2016 with 80% and 12
level from same board with 75% in arts with Math. Later I did lot of research on internet and
attend many educations fair. Then I did my research regarding future prospects and made
my mind to go for Canada overseas education. I spent some time preparing IELTS exam and
because I am taking my Application very seriously I took advice from professional education
consultants for Canada. I also researched on internet and it took me some time but I feel
that the time I consumed for my research of Study overseas is completely worth. I prepare
myself for English proficiency test. I gave IELTS exam on 5 January 2018 from IDP and cleared
it with overall 6 bands. I scored 5.5 in listening, 5 in reading, 6.5 in speaking and 6 in
writing.

Reason to choose Canada and not India to pursue my further

education:
After completion of my 12 th standard, I was looking for a career oriented qualification.
Regarding this, I did deep research on the internet, attended educational seminars and got
suggestions from professionals. I concluded that recruiters of reputed companies in India,
are giving preference to those candidates who have international qualification and practical
skills whereas Indian education system is mainly do focus on theoretical part. Moreover,
Canada has many fine educational institutions, which makes it an increasingly popular
destination for international studies. Additionally, Canada education system is respected
worldwide. If compared with world class education system, I believe that Canada provides
the best education meeting the international standards and competition. Beside this, it is
one of the most dynamic, peaceful and progressive country in the world

Why have I chosen University of Canada West for my further

Education :
Before finalizing this particular education provider, I visited other education providers’
websites like Georgian collage, Kwathlen Polytechnic University, University of Fraser Valley ,
Vancouver community college etc. Then I made comparison on the basis of their
reputation, infrastructure, courses offered, fee structure and course contents provided. I
noted that facilities offered by the University of Canada West will help me gain experience
and help me in my overall personal and professional growth development. The University is
accredited by the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training, and hold
accreditation by the Education Quality Assurance (EQA). The University is also a member of the
British Columbia Council on Admission & Transfer. The university's bachelors and post-graduate
business degrees received accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and
Programs . I believe that the international exposure and faculty would help me build my
knowledge in fundamentals of business. It would be extremely rewarding to share and
exchange thoughts and ideas with a group of people who are from different nationalities and
cultural. The main thing, my education provider is providing interesting and important
course contents which will equip me with professional skills.

What is my future plan :

My plan is return my home country after getting the degree of Bachelor of Arts from
University of Canada West and quality education from Canada west. Here I can work in many
companies like DELL , AMAZON , FLIPKART ,WALMART , RELAINCE ,PHILLPS as a Marketing
executive, Human relations manager, Advertising executive . I strongly believe
that international qualification and professional skills will make me eligible to perform
extraordinary on the workplace. In this way, I can be a successful professional in my career.

Therefore, I would respectfully submit my application for review to start on the path of
career progression.
