22 National Law Enforcement Agency of the Philippines

1. Philippine National Police Maritime Group


 mandated to perform all police functions over Philippine
territorial waters, lakes and rivers, coastal areas to include ports
and harbors and small islands for the security and the
sustainable development of the maritime environment in
the Philippines.

2. Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)


 responsible for implementing national policies related
to Firefighting and fire prevention as well as implementation of
the Philippine Fire Code (PD 1185), which has been repealed
and replaced by the New Fire Code of the Philippines (RA 9514).

3. Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)
 is committed to a vision of a dynamic, responsible and well-
equipped primary investigative arm manned by the best
qualified and highly-motivated professionals in search of truth
and justice

4. National Privacy Commission (NPC)


 an independent body created under Republic Act No. 10173 or
the Data Privacy Act of 2012,[1] mandated to administer and
implement the provisions of the Act, and to monitor and ensure
compliance of the country with international standards set for
data protection.

5. Manila Police District (MPD)


 is the agency of the Philippine National Police (PNP) responsible
for law enforcement in the City of Manila.

6. Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group (PNP-AVSEGROUP)


 is responsible in enforcing laws and regulations related to air
travel in the Philippines.

7. Quezon City Fire District


 responsible for implementing national policies related
to Firefighting and Protection as well as implementation of the
Philippine Fire Code (PD 1185)

8. Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)


 is the executive department of the Philippine
government responsible for promoting peace and order,
ensuring public safety and strengthening local government
capability aimed towards the effective delivery of basic services
to the citizenry.

9. Police Regional Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim


Mindanao (PRO BARMM)
 also known colloquially as the Bangsamoro Police is the regional
office of the Philippine National Police meant to cover the
whole Bangsamoro autonomous region.

10.Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)


 is the lead anti-drug law enforcement agency, responsible for
preventing, investigating and combating any dangerous drug,
controlled precursors and essential chemical within
the Philippines.

11.Philippine Overseas Employment Administration


 an agency of the Government of the Philippines responsible for
opening the benefits of the overseas employment program of
the Philippines. It is the main government agency assigned to
monitor and supervise recruitment agencies in the Philippines.

12.Philippine Ports Authority


 a government-owned and controlled corporation under the
Department of Transportation as an attached agency. It is
responsible for financing, management and operations of public
ports throughout the Philippines, except the port of Cebu, which
is under the Cebu Ports Authority.

13.Philippine Coast Guard


 an armed and uniformed service tasked primarily with enforcing
laws within Philippine waters, conducting maritime security
operations, safeguarding life and property at sea, and protecting
marine environment and resources; similar to coast guards
around the world. Responsible for the Philippine
implementation of the Conventions with regards to
oil pollution, prevention, mitigation and control
through the conduct of marine pollution monitoring
and control, enhancement of PCG capability and oil
spill response operations and enforcement of all
marine environmental laws and regulations.

14.Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP)


 an attached agency of the Department of the Interior and Local
Government mandated to direct, supervise and control the
administration and operation of all district, city and municipal
jails in the Philippines with pronged tasks of safekeeping and
development of its inmates.

15.National Bureau of Investigation


 an agency of the Philippine Government under the Department
of justice, responsible for handling and solving major high-
profile cases that are in the interest of the nation.

16.Bureau of Corrections
 an agency of the Department of Justice which is charged with
the custody and rehabilitation of national offenders, who have
been sentenced to three years of imprisonment or more. The
agency has its headquarters in the New Bilibid Prison
Reservation in Muntinlupa.

17.Bureau of Customs
 Philippine government agency under the Department of Finance.
The general duties, powers and jurisdiction of the bureau shall
include: a. The assessment and collection of the lawful revenues
from imported articles and all other dues, fees, charges, fines
and penalties accruing under the tariff and customs laws.

18.National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM)


 It has the authority to administer police entrance examination,
to investigate police anomalies and irregularities, and to
summarily dismiss erring police officers

19.National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA)


 the primary intelligence gathering and analysis arm of the
Philippine government, in charge of carrying out overt, covert,
and clandestine intelligence programs. Also cooperates with
friendly countries and government agencies in and out of the
country by posting agents as liaison officers.

20.Philippine Air Force


 “To organize, train, equip, maintain and provide forces in order
to conduct prompt and sustained air operations to accomplish
the AFP mission.”

21.Philippines' Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources


 an agency of the Philippine government under the Department
of Agriculture responsible for the development, improvement,
law enforcement, management and conservation of the
Philippines' fisheries and aquatic resources.
22.Philippine Center on Transnational Crime (PCTC)
 created under the Office of the President to formulate and
implement a concerted program of action of all law
enforcement, intelligence and other government agencies for
the prevention and control of transnational crime.
