Study Objective:To perceive the relevance between eosinophyl quantity on
nasal mucosa with the symptom of allergic rhinitis, according to ARIA WHO 2001, and the relevance between eosinophyl quantity on nasal mucosa with the sensitivity degree of skin prick test. Study Method: An Analytic observational study with cross sectional study design applied to 40 allergic rhinitis patients who met the sample criteria. Samples underwent skin prick test, using 12 inhalant Allergen from Indrayana, determined the symptom degree according to ARIA WHO 2001. Result: The increase of nasal mucosa eosinopyl quantity followed by Allergic rhinitis symptom according to ARIA WHO 2001 (p=0.00). There is significant relevance between eosinophyl quantity on nasal mucosa and the number of allergen with +3 result in skin prick test. No relevance is found between eosinophyl quantity and the number of Allergen with +4 result in skin prick test. In Makassar, the type of inhalant allergent of tenly found are house dust, mite, cockroaches and dog dander.
