SANIFAH CLAN SURVEY

INTRODUCTION

Knowing our family background is very important, knowing where we came from will lead
us to a better perspective in life. It allows us appreciate the things that we usually took for granted.

I came from a happy family despite of all the challenges we’ve been through, 9 members
including our parents. Supposed to be it will be 10 unfortunately the youngest leave us early after his
birth.My parents are natives of Lanao del Sur, they originated from Lumba Bayabao, Taraka, Ditsa-
an Ramain and in Marawi City. Presently, we live together at Brgy. Kilala Marawi City.

My father is a retired postman, now a GSIS pensioner, is busy planting crops and vegetables
beside our house at Brgy. Kilala, Marawi City while my mother, a midwife, is busy also taking care
of her flowers adjacent to the vegetables of my father.

My father’s name is Sagosara Naga and my mother’s name is Hanifah, so together our family
is called SANIFAH.

The table shows the frequency and percentage distribution with respect to their Gender
orientation. There is 9 or 50% of the respondents are female and 9 or 50% of the respondent are
male, which implies that there is an exact division between male and female in the SANIFAH clan.

their age. It shows that majority of the respondents belong to the age range <20 years old. This means
that majority of them would belong in age categories classified under the middle adolescence (10 to
15 years old).

their no. of years in education. It shows that there are 9 out of 18 that took 14 years of education,
which implies that most of the sanifah clan finished their college degree.

their income to those who have work and allowance to those who has no work. It shows that the
highest income is 30,000 and lowest is 0.

CONCLUSION

From the findings, it can be concluded that there is an exact division between male and
female in the SANIFAH clan. It shows that majority of the respondents belong to the age range <20
years old that would belong in age categories classified under the middle adolescence which reveals
that most of the sanifah clan is still a student and it also reveals that most of the sanifah clan is a
college degree holder which implies that the sanifah clan is a family full of professional and want to
excel in life.
