The main export destinations of Japan are China ($ 136 Billion), the United States

($ 125 Billion), South Korea ($ 54.2 Billion), Other Asian Countries ($ 32.9 Billion) and

Hong Kong ($ 32.1 Billion). Thus, becoming the world's 4th largest exporter Over the past

five years Japan's exports have decreased at an annualized rate of -2.9%, from $ 801 Billion

in 2012 to $ 694 Billion in 2017. The most recent exports are led by the export of Cars,

which represents 22% of Japan's total exports, followed by computers 19.2%, electrical

machinery 15.2%, optical and technical medical devices 15.2%, iron and steel 3.8%,

plastics 3.6%, organic chemicals 2.5%, precious metals 2.2%, ships 2%, and rubber articles

1.5%,. That is why it is important to remark the importance of its commercial relations with

China, a country that despite its cultural differences and its problems that have been evident

throughout history have influenced international changes in this bilateral relationship, since,

matters as important as the victory in a parliamentary election for the Japanese case or the

death of a political leader such as Mao in China, had a great impact on the way in which the

"other party" was conceived. Likewise, aspects related to the defense of territorial

sovereignty are determining factors in the management and result of the success of the

relations that, although in the political aspect they have reflected certain difficulty as far as

the commercial thing, the needs demands of the one are supplied by the another and that

makes this relationship conflicting, but in turn necessary. On the other hand, the origin of

this relationship is remote a long time ago so much so that history places the beginning of

this conflict in the Sino-Japanese war where for the resurgence of nations became

imperative the need to associate in a commercial way so that the alliance that was formed

would benefit the reconstruction and the geopolitical characteristics of those involved

would be taken advantage of in favor of its development.
