2018 Network license Software hangs at

"Checking License" or "Loading"

Issue:
Problems loading Autodesk Network license products.

Causes:
Restricted profile

Solution:
1. Make sure your license manager is up and running by performing a status enquiry on the server.
2. Access your firewall settings on the server and create both INBOUND and OUTBOUND rules for TCP to use the
ports 2080 and 27000-27009.
3. Add the environment variable ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE.
1. On the Startup menu, right-click the My Computer icon > Properties > Advanced System Settings.
2. On the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.

3. Under System Variables, click New.

4. In the Variable name field enter: ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE

5. In the Variable value field enter: @YOUR_SERVER_IP_ADDRESS

6. Click OK.

4. Make sure you are using the most current version of the graphic drivers.

5. Uninstall\reinstall all versions of C++ 2010-2015.

* 6. If you are still having problems after completing all the steps above, it could be possible your profile is
corrupt or preventing 2018 from loading. Create a new local admin profile and try running your 2018 Autodesk
software.
