At Delight Yoga, we offer four main styles of yoga: astanga, yin, hatha and vinyasa. On the schedule you
will also find styles that are derived from these main styles or that are a combination of styles.

Furthermore, we offer a few special styles: astanga mysore, prenatal, yoga basics and meditation. To
familiarise yourself with the different styles and to make sure you will find a class that suits you best,
please check out the style descriptions below. Delight Yoga offers yoga for different levels of experience,
from beginners to advanced. All classes that are indicated as Beginner classes on the schedule, are
appropriate for beginners (sounds logical, right?).

It is also possible as a beginner to take part in the classes that have a label ‘all levels’. These are classes
which are not aimed at beginners because some more advanced postures will be introduced, but when
you're comfortable enough you're always welcome to join. Advanced classes are best suited for yogis with
more experience.

If you are not sure about what class or level to choose, you can always ask our hosts in the studios to help you pick the right one.
You can also inform about our intakes to develop a custom program together with an expert.

Multiple scientific studies are showing the benefits of meditation, on the physical, emotional, and mental levels. To name a few — regular meditators have
shown physical changes in the brain, improved functioning of the nervous system, enhanced creativity and mental process, improved relationships, and a
greater state of well-being.

Pranayama classes offer a set of simple breathing techniques which help to cleanse and stabilizing body and mind. With a regular Pranayama practice, more
vital energy is made available for the body and mind. The breath begins to flow more freely, providing access to deeper states of meditation.

This class will focus on the Yin style of long held passive poses that open and target connective tissues, specifically ligaments and tendons in the joints and
spine. It restores the vital chi energy to flow through the subtle channels creating a more contemplative non reactive quality of the mind. Combined with the
more active dynamic Yang style of Vinyasa this will stimulate the yang energy that is more flowing in the upper body. In the end of all energy is more flowing
giving a peaceful mind, happiness and joy in your body!

The transmission of this tradition has always been from one person to another, in an intuitive, receptive and guiding relationship. The practice will be taught
one-on-one as a self-practice within the supportive context of community. No experience or prior knowledge of the sequence is required, just some curiosity
and a willingness to learn.

This meditation is a practice of conscious relaxation designed to release held tension in our body and mind. The practice of yoga nidra guides students into a
state of deep relaxation, by progressively relaxing and releasing tension from each part of the body. This helps us to feel more open inside and is a great way to
reverse the impact of stress.
