SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLANNING

MONITORING AND EVALUATION

To be able to keep track of the progress and success of the intervention, monitoring and evaluation activities will be carried
out. The data collected through the activities that will be implemented by the Project Team will be made available for the
stakeholders involved in the intervention to enable them to make use of the data for steering and learning.

The system will enable the learning institution to find data that helps to identify the progress of the interventions that are
being implemented in every Priority Improvement Area’s (PIA’s) and will assist the whole staff and other stakeholders of the
intervention to steer, take decisions and draw valuable lessons.

The M&E focuses on the five (7) focal areas such as: name of project, project objectives and targets, date of monitoring,
accomplishments/status to date, issues/ problems/challenges, recommendations, and signature of School Planning Team.
