Medication Error

Six c's nursing model, Nursing Code of Conduct, Standards of Nursing Practice in relation to Medication

Error.

Nursing issues such as Medication Errors are very common in nursing practice. Ample of reasons are

there to cause medication errors. But the main contributing factors are: work pressure, stress, lack of

knowledge & experience, absence of courage, sympathy/empathy. To minimise such incidents and

overcome the causes that leads to such issues, the adaptation of nursing model (6 C's) and

implementation of nursing code of conduct and standards of practice are quite helpful, which all are

interconnected as shown in this e-poster.
