    This document summarizes the results of an LED lighting installation trial on a drill rig machine. 4 LED lights were installed at different positions on the machine: 1) front, 2) rear of upper cabin, 3) right side of mesh, 4) left side of mesh. Measurements were taken immediately after installation on June 5th, 2016 and again after 1 month of use on July 14th, 2016. The immediate post-installation measurements showed improved lighting levels above standards in all areas. The 1 month follow-up showed lighting remained adequate in most areas except for the right side of mesh. Feedback from supervisors and electricians was positive regarding the brighter and longer-lasting lighting compared to previous systems.
