If I approach teaching with a quality work ethic, then I will get the most out of my
teaching experience. As physical educators one lesson doesn’t work for everyone, the
students aren’t robots, they will tell you how they feel about an activity right away or
you will see if they are capable of performing the tasks you set up to do. This means
we are always working to adapt, modify, progress, regress, or find alternative lessons
to teach to better ourselves and our students’ needs. if I work to have enough content,
and have back up plans on back up plans, if a lesson doesn’t work out, my faculty will
see the work I am putting in to meet the needs of my students. For example, the
physical education teachers I had growing up would ensure the lesson plans included
as many modifications and intratask variations as possible for students who were
struggling and or exceeding expectations. They would always have something planned
needs. If you work hard for your students, and set up rules and respectful
communication from the beginning, you will get that respect and diligent work in return.

They cared so much, not only about my education, but also for me as a developing
person in this world. They made me believe I could do anything and be anything I want
to be, and they wouldn’t just say that they would mean it because they dedicated their
lives to not only educating their students on content and curriculum, but affectively
