Tara Vatcher, Director PT Software Engineering, Fiat Chrysler Automotive US & Mauricio Vianna, Senior Manager
PT Controls and Software, Fiat Chrysler Automotive Brazil visited our Pune campus. They interacted with the
offshore team of KPITians for FCA in a town hall meeting.
Here, they shared their future plans about new areas of collaborations with us and quarterly updates of FCA.
Also, Tara connected with women automobelievers in a unique engagement initiative.

Nick Rogers, Board Director, Product Engineering,
Vehicle Lines and Research at Jaguar Land Rover and
Dave Nesbitt, Director Vehicle Engineering at Jaguar
Land Rover visited our Bangalore office.
They shared updates about the launch of their new
car Land Rover Defender. And also, appreciated the
efforts of KPITians in the defender program.

KLE University initiates a collaboration with KPIT for Employee Education

and Research
KLE Technological University is a leading centre for
teaching and research in India.
KLE Technological University Vice Chancellor Prof
Ashok Shettar and renowned Academician and former
Vice Chancellor Of Goa University, Member of
Univeristy Grants Commission (UGC) - Prof B S Sonde
visited KPIT along with senior members of the
management of the University to formally initiate a
collaboration with us in the area of Employee
Education and Research.

ELIV – International Congress for Automotive    
       

Electronics is a premium conference that brings
together the automotive industry in Europe and
sees participation by industry leaders.
As a strategic software partner to the automotive
industry in Europe, KPIT has been showcasing
technology at ELIV for many years now. KPIT was a
platinum sponsor at ELIV 2019.
KPIT was represented by key team members including
Kishor Patil and Pankaj Sathe. With several meetings
with strategic customers and automotive industry
experts – ELIV was a productive show for us. Our
company name (logo) was right on top too.  
KPIT  hosted the 5th Anniversary edition of this
conference on Diagnostic Future Trends in
Munich, Germany on 22nd Oct 2019.
Every year the conference brings together thought
leaders, business managers and tech experts
from the automotive community.  
There were Interesting presentations by guests
and showcase of KPIT’s next-gen diagnostics

CharIN e.V. is an open coalition of major players within the electric
vehicle industry aiming to support and promote Combined Charging
System (CCS) as a global standard for EV charging. It was founded by
Audi, BMW, Daimler, Mennekes, Opel, Phoenix Contact, Porsche, TÜV  
SÜD and Volkswagen.
Membership in CharIN e.V. is a continuation of the vision and

“True excellence is when you look beyond oneself” - In a unique engagement initiative, Tara Vatcher, Director
       

Nobel laureate Jerry White in conversation with our
chairman Ravi Pandit.
He had an interactive session with a team of KPIT
leaders. The session focused on the theme of
“excellence” and was moderated by Chairman &
Group CEO Ravi Pandit. There were about 30+
attendees.
The objective was to re-iterate ‘excellence’ to the
KPIT leadership through a person who defines
excellence with his global impact body of work.  
– Powertrain software, Fiat Chrysler Automotive
connected with more than 30 women managers at KPIT.
 
This interactive session was themed around “Women in
Engineering and Path to Leadership”. Participants shared  
inspiring stories about their professional experiences,

to plant native trees and to beautify Clifty Skate
Park. The team volunteered with Columbus Parks
and Rec for this community service conserving

celebrated Diwali in different ways. From crafting
colourful rangolis to promoting local, cause-led
small scale businesses, the celebrations at KPIT

Cleaning Activity last week, in association with
partner NGO, Jeevitnadi - Living River Foundation.
This early morning activity witnessed a blend of hard  
work in cleaning the river side, collecting and
segregating garbage, birdwatching and observing the

Andharban and Phanasrai forests near Pune. This
