Documentation for the following Business Requirement: Create an Object level entity and set

default Standard weekly hours as 40.

Step 1: Create Business Rule

Admin Centre  Configure Business Rules  Click on ‘+’ for adding a new Business Rule  Basic
(select Basic)

Enter the desired requirement and set the base object as Legal Entity and Click Continue.

Set Default Legal Entity Working hours as 40. Click Save.

Hence, creation of Business Rule is Completed.


Step 2: Assign the Business Rule

Admin Centre  Configure Object Definition

As Legal Entity is an MDF object we Configure Object Definition.

Standard Weekly Hours (Label: Working Hours) needs to be set according to business requirement
and also other fields such as required etc.

Need to set the Business Rule, as per the requirement we have set it to Save Rules and click on Save.
Step 3: Validate the Rule to check if it’s working as per the requirement given.

Admin Centre  Manage Data

Create New Legal Entity and check the field “Working Hours” has been set to default value=40. If the
user tries to edit also the default working hours is set to 40 after saving.

Hence it is successfully done.
