A. The Internship Location and Dates :
Location: Kantor Wilayah Yogyakarta Ministry of Law and Human Rights
Date: 27 December 2018 – 8 February 2019

B. The Rationalizations Why The Student Selected The Internship Venue

Ministry of Law and Human Rights is the Ministry within the Indonesian Government in
charge of legal and human rights matters. Thus, this internship venue has a lot of relevance with
several courses that the author have taken in my college years, especially Human Rights course
which learn about Humans as social beings have the right to get fair and equal treatment before
the law. Therefore, there is a synchronous relationship between the internship venue that the
author chooses and the course that the author has taken in the university. Author also wanted to be
involved in the Human Rights protection mechanism.

C. The Values, Skills, and Knowledge Desired to be Acquired at the Internship Venue
In general, this internship will grow and improve my professional attitude that the author need
to enter the real world of legal practice in the future. By participating this internship, the author
will be more accustomed to manage the schedule to always be on time, sharpened legal reasoning
and independent analysis. However, the author will also build up specific skill and knowledge,
which are; Knowing and understanding the formulation and implementation of policies in the
regional office of ministry of law and human rights at Yogyakarta, the duties and function of
Regional Office of Ministry of Law and Human Rights at Yogyakarta, Gain skills from helping
data collection, preparation of reports and work papers in Regional Office of Ministry of Law and
Human Rights at Yogyakarta, and Gain skills from assisting the matters in documentation and
statstical data, which are the results of the implementation of plans and work program of the
Regional Office of Ministry of Law and Human Rights at Yogyakarta.

D. The Activities Planned to be Conducted during the Internship Period


In general, the activities that the author will do are as follows:
- From 27 December 2018 to 3 January 2019, author will be placed in Administrative division
- From 4 to 10 January 2019, author will be placed in Legal and Human Rights Service
division.
- From 11 to 21 January 2019, author will be placed in the Socialization division.
- From 22 january to 30 february 2019, author will be placed at Immigration division.
