FIRST HOMEROOM PTA MEETING
JULY 8, 2019

MINUTES OF THE MEETING

Agenda:

1. The first Homeroom PTA Meeting was started by a prayer led by Mrs. Florenda
Pollicar. It was followed by a checking of attendance of the three sections: St.
Joseph, St. Peter and St. Anthony.

The first agenda was about the election of Homeroom Officers and the following are the
elected officers:

President: Mr. Rolando Loresto

2. The second agenda was about the PSA /NSO of the students. The three advisers give
the reminders of the PSA of their children because of the misspelled names of their
children when written in their forms and it should be submitted to their respective
advisers before the school year ends.

3. The third agenda was about the RFID/ID Card of the students. The Board of Trustees
especially Ma’am Dagala proposed that we will be having a new card. These cards
informed the parents of the in and out of their children because they will log in and
logout using their card.
4. The fourth agenda was about the attitudes or behavior of students inside the
classrooms. Sir Client Paredes talked about his students (St. Anthony) and he asked
the help of the parents to advise also their respective parents in disciplining their
children too because they were quite naughty during class hours. Ma’am Leendeen
talked about her advisory class, St. Peter and she said that her students were very
good this year. Ma’am Eiman talked about her students St. Joseph. Since she was just
entered the school only a week she had less comment of the behavior of her students.

5. The last agenda is about the forthcoming activities which were: School Mass- it was
held every first Friday of the month, Pre-Test- every second week of the month,
Institutional Camp will be on August 22-23, 2019.

SECOND HOMEROOM PTA MEETING
September 10, 2019

Agenda:
1. Attitudes of students towards Studies
2. Schedule of 2nd Pre- Assessment
3. Sirinipal 2019
4. SAHS Foundation Day
5. Other Matters

1. The second homeroom PTA meeting begins with a prayer led by the parent. It was
followed by the first agenda which is the Attitudes Towards Studies. Each adviser of the
three section emphasized the importance of having a passing grades in all subject. The
advisers advised the parents to help their children in their studies by checking the
assignment, projects etc. if they have when they were in their home.

2. The second topic was about the schedule of second Pre -Assessment and it will be on
September 19-20, 2019. Since it was already our second Pre- Assessment parents were
advised to inform their children to study more in order not to get lower grades.

3. The third topic was about the SIRINIPAL 2019. Our PTA President preside the topic on
sirinipal. The majority decided to contribute P100 for four days sirinipal. It was assigned
to parents in every barangay for them to prepare with their members and bring it to
school for their children to eat. Each group will have P1,100 as their budget including the
spoon and the plates/glass.

4. The fourth topic was about the foundation day. The advisers chose contestants on the
Foundation Day to avoid cramming on the said date. They started with the muse and
escort and decided that Fiona Faye N. Gordon is the muse. Unfortunately, the advisers
haven’t found the contestant for the escort. The body agreed that they will contribute
P200 for the boxes of the muse and escort as their extra commitment aside from the P150
being stated in the statement of accounts. The advisers promised that they will just select
the remaining contestants for the hiphop, dancesports, lipsynch, etc. and parents should
support their children. Parents participation is highly recommended during that day.

5. For the other matters, the advisers reminded the parents to follow up the PSA of their
children.

The meeting adjourned at 9:30 in the morning.

Third Homeroom PTA Meeting


November 6, 2019

1. The first topic was about the attitudes towards studies. Each Advisers emphasized the
importance of having a complete notes, activities, home works, outputs in having a high
grades.
They reminded again the parents of the cause of having an incomplete and low grades. In
the case of having an incomplete grades the subject teachers are still waiting for their
output or exam to be submitted.

2. The second topic was about the Urukay Festival that will be scheduled on November 22-
23, 2019. Selection of participants should be done only after the monitoring visit of the
school.

3. The third topic was about the Foundation Day which is scheduled on November 29-30,
2019.The following are the contest categories: Search for SAHS King and Queen 2019,
Instrumental Guitar, Acoustic Solo, Acoustic Duo, Vocal Solo, Vocal Duet(Parents), Lip
Synchronization, Hip-Hop Pinoy, Modern Dance- (Parent), Dance Sports. The parents
suggested that they will ask favor for the parents by extending any amount for the said
category. It was decided that they will contribute P20 or more.

4. The last topic was about the Family Day. The Homeroom PTA President do the honor in
facilitating the topic. The majority agreed that each barangay will be having their own
menu. The group was divided into 5 groups, Poblacion & Timbobog, Sagua, Talisayan,
Nato-Butuan, Bayo & Tagaytay. Each parent will contribute P50 for the foods.

5. The Distribution of Cards follows when there’s no more topics and question raised.

5th HOMEROOM PTA MEETING
March 13, 2019

Agenda:
1. Attitudes towards Studies
2. Incomplete Grades
3. Awarding of Certificates
4. Recognition Day
5. Other Matters

1. The first agenda was about the attitudes towards studies. This topic was always been
repeated since first quarter up to the last quarter. Since this is the final quarter already
the parents are encouraged to visit the school in order to know the missing requirements
of their children.

2. The second topic is about the incomplete grades. The advisers announced the names of
students with problems and tell them to stay for further recommendations.

3. The third topic was about the awarding of certificates scheduled on March 22, 2019.
Everyone is invited to join the said awarding. Awardee together with their parents will
come together to receive the certificates.

4. The fourth topic was about the Recognition Day. It is scheduled on April 2, 2019. In the
morning is the Graduation Mass for the grade 12 students. In the afternoon is the
Recognition Day for the lower grades from grade 7 to grade 11. The grade 12 students
will be wearing their toga and the lower grades should wear their complete prescribed
uniform. Parents should wear their formal attire when receiving the awards together with
their children.

5. For the other matters, again the PSA of students who hadn’t submitted yet to their
respective advisers. The meeting adjourned at 3:00 pm.

SPECIAL PTA MEETING
JANUARY 15, 2019

AGENDA:
1. STUDENTS WITH PROBLEMS

This special meeting was called in order to inform the parents of the students who are
in the risk of having a lot of failing grades. Each subject teacher talked about their
weaknesses on why these students failed to comply and got a failing grades in almost all
of the subject.

The parents and their children promised to comply everything before the school year
ends. The teachers in all subjects promised that they will set a date so that the compliance
in every subject will be on time. And that they will have no failing grades during the final
quarter.

The meeting adjourned at 3:00 pm.

1. The meeting was opened by a prayer led by the parents. Next is checking of the
attendance by each section. It was followed by the 1st topic which is the ELECTION OF
HOMEROOM OFFICERS for school year 2018-2019. The following are the officers:

2. The second topic was about the Attitudes of Students Towards Studies. The two
advisers remind the parents to follow up the requirements of their children in order to
minimize the failing grades or low grades of their children.
3. The second topic was about the PSA of the students. The parents are advised to submit
the photocopy of the PSA of their children because there are cases that the names were
different after they have received their PSA record. This will be submitted to their
respective advisers before the school year ends.
4. The 4th topic was about the Elementary Permanent Record. Students who enrolled in
the school should have the complete records of their elementary grades. Failure to submit
means he has not yet cleared of their requirements during their elementary days.
5. The last was for the other matters, which is intended for some questions raised by the
parents and the overview of the forthcoming activities.
