Dear Hon. Punong Barangay:

Due to the recent magnitude 6.3 earthquake that hit Mindanao, Wednesday
night of October 16, 2019, Pieceland Corp., the operator/ developer of Marvin
Plaza Building, recognizes the importance of life-protecting actions to be taken
immediately, as earthquakes strikes without warning. Therefore, of all
earthquake preparedness measures, earthquake drills are the most important.
Their purpose is to help the tenancy of Marvin Plaza Building how to REACT
immediately and appropriately.

In lieu thereof, Pieceland Corporation declares the month of November 2019 as

Earthquake Preparedness Month. The month-long awareness scheme will
include various seminars, activities and will be culminated by a Nighttime
Evacuation Drill on November 20, 2019, and Day time evacuation Drill on
November 22, 2019.

Correspondingly and with reverence to your honorable office’s mandates, we

fervently request for the supervision and assistance of your Bantay Bayan/
Barangay Tanod Brigade on our scheduled Evacuation Drills particularly to
maintain the flow of traffic along V.A. Rufino Street and Don Chino Roces
Avenue.

Furthermore, in anticipation of a potential need for emergency first-aid or in

simulation of a real crisis dealt with by a destructive earthquake, we fervently
request for the availability of your Emergency Response Team on the scheduled
Earthquake Drills.
