7 ESTIMATED MATERIAL AND CONSTRUCTION COST

The process would consist on the cost estimates which include the

excavation, reinforcing and concreting for the proposed reservoir design, material

and installation of the pipe networks, and other miscellaneous costs such as the

installation of drip emitters. The calculated results would then be used for the

procedure of Cost-Benefit Analysis.

Results of the cost estimates is shown on the table (see Appendix D.2)

wherein the total cost for the drip irrigation system is Php 4,604,255.672, with an

per annum cost of Php 693,422.30 that is included in the Labor and Planting Cost,

Packaging, and Mobilization.
