Guidelines on Incentive and Rewards Program for Teachers

SY: 2018-2019

In line with DO 78, S. 2007 – Strengthening the Program on Awards and

Incentives for Service Excellence (Praise) of the Department of Education, San Juan
Elementary School spearheaded by the school head together with the School
Governing Council has the following Incentive programs and its respective criteria:

1 Best Employee Award as : (To teachers/individuals who excelled among

peers in a functional group, position or profession through his or her dedication to
duty, rendered services without counting the time or beyond the call of duty and
during exigency of service at all times or most of the time).

1.1 Best Coach in Math, Science or Sports ,etc.-a winning

Coach in Division level or higher competition bringing
the name of the school.

1.2 Best Teacher- With no or with the least number of students

with failure grades given in two consecutive grading
periods.

1.3 Best Adviser by Year level- With good Classroom structuring,

maintain the orderliness and cleanliness of the classroom
and its lobby and with potted plants in and outside the
classroom.

2. Star Action Award- Given to teachers who are commended for their
courtesy, promptness, efficiency and dedication to duty with no or with the
least number of tardiness or absences.
