T he Project team at PTPS Site has identified and replaced the

Cradle Platform in Wagon Tippler #4 at CHM II. Client
permitted to complete the job within 20 days and the project team
completed the cradle platform replacement work from 17th November 2017 to 2nd
December 2017. The team

Modication Works @ Balco 540 MW Site, Chhattisgarh

CBM Department of Balco 540 MW Site has
identified the Hammer in damaged condition at Crusher #B
and informed to Mechanical team. The Mechanical team
planned to replace the Teeth Hammer (18 nos.) and Ring
Hammer (16 nos.) totally 34 Hammers on 29th November
2017. Similarly, on 4th December 2017, the Mechanical team
replaced the Rotor #2 & #3 in Screen #B the damaged
Sprocket and completed the job within 12 hours. DGM

loading through Ship
Loader. On 11th
December 2017, PPT
team handled the vessel
named “MV Vishva
TSPL site team accomplished the new record in Cheta and MV MP
unloading the coal through Rack. The team unloaded Panamax” and loaded
141 nos. of rack within 6 hours 45 minutes against the 51,000 MT coal in first
th
earlier unloading of 141 nos. of rack within 7 hours for shift. On11 June 2016,
the month of November 2017. As a token of the team loaded the coal
appreciation, CHP Head Mr.Sampasivrao along with at 50,000 MT which was
Director Mr.V.R.Ramu, Resident Manager the highest record at PPT Site. As a token of appreciation, SE
Mr.N.Kalyanasundaram and all the Higher Officials Mr.Deepak Rath, Exen Mr.R.N.Sahoo, Assistant Exen

Safety Awareness Training Program @ JSW Phase II Site, Maharastra

On 5th December 2017, Special Safety Awareness training program has been
conducted by Safety Officer Mr.Anup Roy for all Department night shift employees. They
covered various topics during the training session, i.e. Basic fire safety, Basic Height work
safety precaution, About Machine guarding & Near-miss, awareness at work place, how to
avoid such type of incidents at work place, Do's & Don't while performing such activities at
work place. Finally discussed about the Near-miss incidents & its reporting system as well as
how could we minimize the incidents at work place by maximum near-miss information. On
that occasion, Dy. Resident Manager Mr.K.Jayapal, Operation In-charge Mr.Ashish Pandey,
all the shift In-charges along with 60 employees have participated.
