VII. PROPOSED SYSTEM
The camera in the suitcase enables the user to do face
unlocking. By this, we don’t need to maintain a physical
key to the lock. We can perform locking & unlocking the
suitcase without need of a physical key. The GPS enables
us to locate the luggage at situation where the luggage is
lost. The camera has an added advantage of clicking
pictures of the thief once detected by the Luggage Security
System and sending those pictures to the owner’s email.
These are the features of Luggage Security System. The
proposed method is useful for the Luggage’s owner to keep
all his belonging safe and secure.
The main data the Luggage’s owner needs in cases
where the suitcase goes missing is the location of the
suitcase. For this, the Luggage Security System has a GPS
module, which tracks the location details accurately and
send those data to the owner’s mail. With the help of
machine learning APIs available in python, face unlocking
feature is enabled in this system. By this, the owner of the
luggage needs to train his face to the Luggage Security
System by facing the camera and pressing the push button
that is fixed to pi. By this, face of the owner gets trained to
the Luggage Security System, so later the luggage’s owner
can unlock the suitcase by facing the camera and pressing
the push button. The lock won’t open for any unrecognized
faces. A fake physical lock setup which can give a HIGH
input on insertion of any key is fixed to the Luggage. This
setup is to cheat the thief, and when anyone tries to insert a
key into the fake lock, it captures a picture of them and
send it to the owner’s mail.

VIII. RESULT &CONCLUSION

We propose an idea of tracking and identification of
people’s luggage using face recognition. An illegal attempt to
open the luggage results to take a picture of the person before
the camera in the luggage and sends that to mail. In that way
we can easily identify the person who is responsible for the
missing luggage.
