Dear Mr. McKee,

The Florida Department of Health (Department) received a letter on behalf of your client, Sun Bulb
Company, Inc. (Sun Bulb), and Better-Gro Companies, LLC (Better-Gro), dated February 14, 2018. The
letter requests the Department retain the $5 million cash bond posted to the benefit of Sun Bulb in
satisfaction of Better-Gro’s bonding obligations pursuant to Section 381.986(8)(b)7.b., Florida Statutes.
The letter additionally requests confirmation from the Department that Better-Gro Companies, LLC, is a
licensed medical marijuana treatment center.

The Department approved the license transfer from Sun Bulb to Better-Gro on January 24, 2018. At this
time, the Department confirms that Better-Gro Companies, LLC, is a licensed medical marijuana
treatment center, in lieu of Sun Bulb Company, Inc.

Better-Gro remains bound by both Section 381.986, Florida Statutes, and Department rules and
regulations, and must continue to request to make any material changes to the specific representations
made to the Department.
