1. Motivation
Teacher will prepare a piece of paper with jumbled letters. Student will ask to
pick a paper in the fish bowl and let her/his arrange the jumbled letters.

2. Group Activity
The class will be divided into five groups. Each group will be assign to define and give
example of different subgenres of fiction. They will make a short skit to illustrate the
different subgenres of fiction.
Group 1 – Mystery
Group 2 – Realistic Fiction
Group 3 – Historical Fiction
Group 4 – Fantasy
Group 5 – Science Fiction
