Extra Baggage Rules

1) Upon completing Pre-Paid Baggage Sign-up, you

  a. cannot opt out of Pre-Paid Baggage and cannot change any of the selected Extra Baggage(s).
b. Baggage price is non-refundable and non-cancellable.
c. Authorize Optiontown at its own sole discretion, to assign Pre-Paid Baggage to you.
d. have agreed to pay Pre-Paid Baggage Price.
e. you will be entitled to carry the Pre-Paid Bags assigned to you.
f. children above two years are subject to the same extra bag price as adults. Infants below two years are not
subject to Pre-Paid Baggage purchase.
g. Pre-Paid Baggage prices may vary by route, by time of purchase, by demand on the flight for Bags or by any
other variable.
h. 'bags' refer to checked-in baggage only since hand baggage allowance is regulated by different policies.
i. The sum of the 3 linear dimensions (width + height + length) of one piece must not exceed 158 cm / 62 inches.
j. if the size and/or weight of your Bag(s) is more than the specified limit, additional charges may apply at the
airport.
k. if you decide not to carry Pre-Paid Baggage as per the assigned Pre-Paid Baggage, your Pre-Paid Baggage price
will not be refunded.
l. you will be informed about the Pre-Paid Baggage assignment on the email address provided by you.
m. The maximum weight permissible for a single piece of baggage is 32 kgs provided you have upgraded your bag
from 23 kgs to 32 kgs by paying applicable price.This rule is applicable on the entire Air India network.

2) You need to contact Air India if you desire to make changes or if Air India makes any changes to your flight
before/after Pre-Paid Baggage assigned to you. In all such cases, normal policies of Air India shall apply. In the event
you make any changes in your itinerary, Air India may choose not to assign Pre-Paid Baggage to you.
