Introduction:
Online voting system project is implemented in bootstrap 4 platform
using MYSQL database as back end.Main aim of online voting system is
to develop an online application for citizens who are above 18 years of
age to vote through online.Using these system citizens can cast their
vote through online without visiting polling booths.
Abstract:
The online voting system is made for the people of the country or any
educational institute students to vote for their representative(college
leader).The main concept of this project is to built a website,which
should be able to allow people to cast their vote by online.This is simple
and secure method and takes minimum time.In online voting system a
voter can use his/her voting right online without any difficulty.By using a
unique ID and password voter can login to cast his/her vote.
Existing system:
• Existing system consisting of paper based voting system
• It is a time taking process for voters to cast their vote,because
their need to maintain a queue at the polling station
 Proposed system:
• The proposed system is a time saving process.
• Work load is reduced,because online voting is a simple process.
• No travelling expenses.
• By using this system counting process is done very quickly and easily.

• RAM:2 GB
• ROM:500 MB
Software requirements:
• OS:Windows 7 or above
• Front end:Bootstrap 4
• Backend:MYSQL

Conclusion:
The usability of this system is very high if it will be used in real life
election process.It will definitely helpful for the users who wish to vote
and the voting process will be made easy by using this application.
And the voter can cast his vote without visiting the polling booth.It
saves lot of time and many resources.counting process can be done
easily.
