an Integrated State Scholarship Portal (SSP) is developed by Centre for


As you are aware,
e-Governance, GoK for sanctioning of Post-Matric Scholarship under various Schemes of
Government of Karnataka and the portal will be launched on 1st of November, 2019.

In the above context, following are the activities that have to be performed by the College Principals immediately:

Ensure that the Course, Subject Combination/Discipline, Course Professional Type, Type of Seat & Fee Entry details entered by your
college in College Information System – SSP are correct and complete. Also please submit Data Entry Completion & Correctness
Certificate to the Department of Higher Education, University & Centre for e-Governance(Please note that the College-wise Data Entry
Reports are available for download in CIS Portal Homepage)

Ensure that, a minimum 3 and maximum 5 e-Attestation Officers are appointed in your College for the purpose of attesting documents
submitted by the students of your college.

E-Attestation Officers’ training has been scheduled on 30.10.2019 at SATCOM Video Conference Centre of all Taluk Panchayat Offices.
Please make sure that the e-Attestation Officers designated for your college attends the said training without fail.

Please direct the designated e-Attestation Officers of your college to practice on the e-Attestation process in SSP – e-Attestation Portal, for
the purpose of which a dummy e-document is also made available in the e-Attestation Officer’s login account.

Ensure that all e-Attestation applications are disposed off on the same day as the reports are being generated and the progress is being
reviewed at the Government level on a daily basis.

All e-Attestation Officers should attempt to dispose maximum number of applications every day.

Attestation of student documents should be done by the concerned e-Attestation Officer himself. He should not share his Aadhaar
Credentials and OTP with anyone.

Please don’t send e-Attestation Officers on leave/training/other official duty till the last day of application submission on SSP Portal.

Publicize the Post-Matric Scholarship Eligibility Criteria among all students of your College.(Please note that the Post-Matric eligibility
criteria document is available for download in SSP Portal).

10. Please start issuing Certificates immediately (Study/Bonafide Certificate) to students in the standard template that has already been shared
with all Colleges.

11. Group talk facility has been enabled in order to communicate with all the College Principals regarding Post-Matric Scholarship &
e-Attestation. Kindly make sure that you are available for all Group talk sessions held by SSP Cell without fail.

12. Please display the SSP Portal Posters that has been shared with you at your College premises, Notice Boards & Electronic Display Boards.

13. Create awareness among all the eligible students by conducting training sessions on e-Attestation & Post-Matric Scholarship Application
submission through SSP.

14. Please extend computer centre & digital library facilities to students of your college for e-Attestation & Post-Matric Scholarship Application
submission.

15. Please ensure that students belonging to Minority Communities apply for Scholarship in NSP Portal before applying for Scholarship in SSP
Portal.

16. Please communicate to the students that Web Portals of Scholarship Sponsoring Departments will not be applicable/valid to apply for
Scholarship.

17. Please be in contact with the Taluka level Officers and District level officers of Social Welfare, Tribal Welfare, Backward Classes Welfare &
Minority Welfare Departments for all sorts of communication related to e-Attestation & Post-Matric Scholarship Portal.

18. Ensure that students have bank accounts and have seeded their Aadhaar numbers to it.

19. Students who are eligible to get free admission should not be forced to pay the fees. Their list should be shared with the department for Fee
Reimbursement.

20. Please instruct the e-Attestation Officers of your college to join our telegram group named “State Scholarship Portal – CeG” for which invite
has already been sent to all the e-Attestation officers through SMS.

21. Call Sakala Helpline Number 080-44554455 for any queries.

It is requested to carry out all the above mentioned activities from your end adhering to timelines.
If any eligible student misses out from availing Post-Matric Scholarship due to non-attestation of documents or non-availability of computer
& internet facilities, it will be viewed very seriously and the concerned principal and e-Attestation officers will be held responsible.
