RESEARCH AGENDA FOR NEXT 3 TO 5 YRS:

Industrial robotics control is challenging. It's not like sending a rocket into space but
almost: what we do have to work. Today, about 90% of manufacturing companies that could
able to use robots but still they don't use it even though they face challenges in finding skilled
workers. The reason is that current robotic platforms simply don't match the majority of
customer needs for flexibility and simplicity. This market will only be reached by means of
innovation. In this line design and study of re-configurable mechanisms for multiple machining

operations provides flexibility in manufacturing tasks. For this Robotics and Mechatronics lab
and small drilling machine, robotic links, Arduino boards etc. are required.

TEACHING INTEREST FOR THE NEXT 3 TO 5 YRS:

Interested to establish ‘Robotic design and Mechatronics Laboratory’ for academic

research and especially to show the kinematic and dynamics control of robot for mechanical
students through MATLAB software instead of embedded systems.

BRIEF STATEMENT OF INTERESTS, PARTICULARLY AIMED AT CAMPUS

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT:

Every year an event on ‘student invention of the year’ will be conducted to encourage
students to develop their own projects.

MAJOR STRENGTHS:

 Dedication, Hard work, Sincerity, Confidence towards job and Responsibilities.

 Good Preparation for class work, Clarity in writing on black board

 Can relate to Student level and aptitude
