Is it OK to be calm?

Hello, my name is Sebi and I’ll talk about a topic that

wasn’t on that list. I’ve chosen this topic because I
consider it very important and I want you to hear my
opinion about this: about being calm.
First of all, let’s define calm. By calm I mean being
almost impassive, almost careless, not taking every
difficulty you encounter to heart. I consider that it’s way
better for you not to stress over every problem you have.
It’s better to stay calm, to keep your cool and to properly
judge the situation you are in. I’m sure that screaming
and behaving like a crazy chicken won’t help.
Being impassive and remaining calm can help you in
a lot of situations. For example, in a dangerous situation
when everyone around you loses their focus, you can be
the one that gets everybody out of danger. Being in a
calm mood all the time helps you getting over your
everyday problems a lot easier. Receiving bad news or
arguing about some stupid subject won’t affect you
anymore. I think being able to say “OK, that’s it. I don’t
care.” and get over it is a huge advantage in your
everyday life.
On the other hand, some people might might consider
this a bad thing and say that you are cold-hearted or that
you have no feelings or emotions. It might, also, be a
little bit harder for you to make friends and you might
not please everybody.
I think that’s all. I hope you understood what I tried to
explain you and I hope you might have changed your
mindset a little bit maybe.
