183,000 times​, which led to a 30% adoption rate and a $1.25 million increase in 
concession revenue. 

Implementation 
1. Start with messages and notifications. In these, include the links to apps/websites of the 
company. Using the data: which notification is opened by customer, send more 
customized notifications 
2. The specific webpage of the advertising company may be opened next. Direct them to 
the online store when they scan the product in hand.  
3. Focussing on the app that users need to download to enable beacon technology to work 
on their mobile: developing various strategies for the app- user friendly, advanced. At a 
later stage, finding alternative solutions to the app. 
4. The beacons would allow retailers to identify and track people as they visited the retail 
outlet, providing valuable information to marketers about past (and possibly future) 
purchases. ​This would enable them plan accordingly and implement these stats in their 
strategies. Measure and fine-tune campaigns based on analytics. Create a powerful 
analytics engine, get instant campaign analytics and measure the efficacy of offline

BLE 5.0 (​Bluetooth 5) quadruples the wireless range, doubles speed, and increases the bandwidth to
allow for broadcasting to two wireless devices at once. But for us, more important is the fact that
Bluetooth 5 adds improvement with Beacon technology.
