Thank you for your interest in becoming an IATA Authorized Training Center. Partnerships
with Authorized Training Centers (ATCs) are important to the IATA Training & Development
Institute (ITDI) so that our courses can provide quality training to students all over the world.
This document explains what the authorization process is. After reading it thoroughly, please
do not hesitate to contact us if you need further clarification.
Training institutions wishing to offer one of IATA’s Distance Learning Programs listed
below are invited to apply for authorization:
Step 2: IATA Montreal reviews the application. If more information is required, the school will be
contacted via e-mail.
Step 3: When all documents submitted are found to be satisfactory and application is approved,
IATA Montreal will send the school the ATC Agreement and an invoice for the ATC
Network Entrance Fee and the ATC Annual Authorization Fee, which covers all Training
Programs.
Step 4: When IATA Montreal receives the signed ATC Agreement back from the school along
with payment of the invoice, the school will then be sent a Certificate of Authorization valid
until 31 December of the current year, an ATC Handbook, the ATC Logo, a
complimentary training kit for each authorized course and marketing collateral. If
authorization is granted to a Branch, IATA Montreal will send the Branch Certificate to the
Head Office. The Certificates indicate the ATC authorization ID number and the
Authorized Training Programs. In the event that the IATA Training & Development
Institute cannot, for just cause, accept an application, it will contact the applicant
accordingly.

All new ATC applicants are required to pay a one-time non-refundable evaluation fee of USD350
at the time of their application (this fee is not applicable to existing ATCs wishing to add a course
or a new branch).
Once a new ATC is authorized, it is required to pay a one-time ATC Network Access Fee, an ATC
Annual Authorization Fee and Annual Branch Fees, if applicable (see table below).
