This document explains what the authorization process is. After reading it thoroughly, please
do not hesitate to contact us if you need further clarification.

1. IATA AUTHORIZATION PROCESS

The steps involved in becoming authorized as an IATA ATC are:

Step 1: Organization/School obtains application in our website or requests it from

atcinfo@iata.org, completes it, and then sends it back to IATA Montreal with all
supporting documents (1 page business/marketing plan, 1 page infrastructure plan, copy
of licence, copy of brochure, evaluation fee and other relevant documentation).

Step 2: IATA Montreal reviews the application. If more information is required, the school will be
contacted via e-mail.

Step 3: When all documents submitted are found to be satisfactory and application is approved,
IATA Montreal will send the school the ATC Agreement and an invoice for the ATC
Network Entrance Fee and the ATC Annual Authorization Fee, which covers all Training
Programs.

Step 4: When IATA Montreal receives the signed ATC Agreement back from the school along
with payment of the invoice, the school will then be sent a Certificate of Authorization valid
until 31 December of the current year, an ATC Handbook, the ATC Logo, a
complimentary training kit for each authorized course and marketing collateral. If
authorization is granted to a Branch, IATA Montreal will send the Branch Certificate to the
Head Office. The Certificates indicate the ATC authorization ID number and the
Authorized Training Programs. In the event that the IATA Training & Development
Institute cannot, for just cause, accept an application, it will contact the applicant
accordingly.

2. COMPLETING THE APPLICATION FORM

Head Office and Branch Locations

Authorizations are issued for each individual location and for each course being taught.
Consequently, a school with a head office and branch(es), wishing to offer one or more courses at
more than one location, must complete and submit the respective section of the application
form for each location specifying the courses to be taught. Applications must include all
necessary information for each location and each course. Only locations that have been
authorized are permitted to offer IATA courses.

NOTE:
The Head Office address will be used for all communications.
Authorizations are not transferable to any third parties at any time. This includes transfer
over to a branch location.

3. AUTHORIZATION AGREEMENT, ANNUAL FEES AND CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORIZATION

All new ATC applicants are required to pay a one-time non-refundable evaluation fee of USD350
at the time of their application (this fee is not applicable to existing ATCs wishing to add a course
or a new branch).
Once a new ATC is authorized, it is required to pay a one-time ATC Network Access Fee, an ATC

As part of its annual fees, an ATC is entitled to:

♦ Course material revisions/updates as needed.

♦ Preparation and distribution of examination results.

♦ Inclusion of its name in the list of IATA Authorized Training Centers on the IATA Website and
in other newsletters or publications as relevant.

♦ One free training kit per course type for which the ATC has been authorized.

♦ Authorization to use the specific “IATA ATC” sub-brand logo as supplied by IATA and with
prior approval from IATA Training & Development Institute for each advertising use.

4. ANNUAL RENEWAL OF AUTHORIZATION

Authorizations are renewed annually provided that:

a) The IATA Training & Development Institute is satisfied that all standards have been met
(The Institute may request that this be verified by an IATA representative).

b) There is no change in the institution’s status that would invalidate the Authorization
Agreement.

c) Payment of annual fees is made within 30 days of invoice receipt.

d) The ATC meets its annual minimum student enrolment requirement as specified in the ATC
Handbook.

The IATA Training & Development Institute will issue a new Certificate of Authorization, given that
the above standards have been met and that payment of annual fees has been received.
