Hydra stem cells as models to explore germline development and cancers related to the malignant
proliferation of stem cells.

Lin was also elected to the United States National Academy of Sciences (NAS) in recognition of his
contribution to the mechanisms underlying the self-renewing division of stem cells.

Professor Lin was appointed as Adjunct Professor in Shanghai Institute for Advanced
