ADA:
For security purposes, you may not keep this admission ticket with you while you are testing. If you would like this
notice back at the conclusion of your testing session, please notify the proctor before you begin your exam.
PROHIBITED ITEMS:
All electronic devices (cell phones, cameras, iPods, mp3 players, headphones, pagers, computers, PDAs, or other
electronic devices with one or more memories) are prohibited.
Food and beverages are also NOT allowed in the exam area. Smoking is NOT permitted at exam sites at any
time.
Personal writing utensils (pencils, pens and highlighters), notes, books, book bags, luggage or purses are not
permitted.
Coats, jackets, watches, hats, hoods or other headgear are not permitted, however sweaters and sweatshirts
without pockets or hoods will be allowed in exam sites.
A basic 4 function calculator will be provided for math calculations. Dry erase boards or scratch paper and pens
may also be provided for math calculations upon request. All scratch paper must be collected by the proctor upon
completion of the exam.
Computer-based tests are delivered via secure internet connection. Internet connections are subject to internet
providers in that area. While it is not the norm, internet connections can, on occasion, be lost momentarily, requiring
the proctor to log you back into your exam. If this occurs, inform the proctor that your connection has been lost and
he or she will assist you in logging back in. Your exam time remaining will be exactly the same as it was when the
internet connection was lost.
If you experience any technical difficulties or have any questions or concerns while taking the exam, IMMEDIATELY
speak with the proctor to identify the issue. He or she will NOT help you with the content of the exam, but will help
you with any technical issues. Do NOT wait until the exam is over before alerting you proctor.
Computer-based testing facilities offer exam services to multiple agencies. There may be other individuals in the
testing room who are sitting for different exams. The rules for their exams may be slightly different than the rules for
your exam in terms of exam time, and what is and is not allowed at their station.
Upon completion of the exam and optional survey, all candidates should receive their test scores. Please be sure to
click “submit” after the survey in order to receive your score report. If you need assistance in displaying or printing
your score report, please notify the proctor before exiting the browser.
PLEASE NOTE:
Examination room temperature can be unpredictable; therefore, we suggest you bring or wear appropriate clothing
(see restrictions above) to help you adapt to a cooler or warmer climate in the examination room. Please bring ear
plugs if you are sensitive to noise. All earplugs are subject to examination by the testing proctors.
