ABSTRACT
iii

The researcher develops an Online Guidance Monitoring System for Zamboanga del Sur
National High School to eliminate the manual operation in the guidance office in monitoring the
student’s record for an ease to their jobs.

The system is designed to provide an easy way of identifying the count of every student’s
misconduct including all details of violation incident. The system was also designed to provide a
paperless transaction, or at least lessen the paper transactions inside the office. A paperless
transaction is a great help in maximizing the usage of the area, knowing that school’s population
continues to grow every year and a wide and spacious place is required to provide a quality service
to every students and clients that needed the service of the guidance office. This will lessen the
stacks of paper documents filed in cabinets, lessen the risk of losing student files and above all,
the guidance office is able to provide a quality and standard service.

Zamboanga del Sur National High School Online Guidance Monitoring System is a system
software proposed for Zamboanga del Sur National High School Guidance Office to provide and
automated and efficient way of storing students information in a centralized database system. The
researchers does not implement any application regarding organizing files or records of the
studens, so, as researchers they would like to create one for the school. The researchers will
develop a system that will concentrate on the Guidance mnitoring to make the management of the
student records be a lot easier, efficient, less time consuming and reliabe without sacrificing
quality.
