Sumitomo SHI FW is looking for a

PERFORMANCE ENGINEER

As an assigned member of proposal or project team Performance Engineer participates in concept

development with other technical experts and is responsible for the thermal- and process dimensioning of the
boiler pressure parts and auxiliary equipment, participates in quantity and cost estimation and is responsible of
preparing documents to performance guarantee review in Service deliveries. Service deliveries include
maintenance, upgrades and modernizations. Performance Engineer in Service has an active role in supporting
Customer Managers globally in conceptual and dimensioning matters both internally and in client interface.
The position will be based in the Varkaus office.

Qualifications

You have a polytechnic or university degree of energy/process technology. As a Performance Engineer, you
have good written and spoken skills in English as well as ability to work as part of the project team and you are
prepared to travel occasionally. You are capable to manage multiple deliveries at limited time frame and you
have good skills in decision making. Earlier experience of similar tasks or working with process issues is
considered as an advantage.
