Loss of thrust.
Nose of aircraft will yaw in
direction of dead engine.
Rudder pedal force will be
required in the direction away
from the dead engine to maintain
straight flight.

ENGINE ROUGHNESS
NOTE
Partial
carburetor
heat may be
worse than
no heat at
all, since it
may melt
part of the
ice which
will refreeze
in the intake
system.
Therefore,
when using
carburetor
heat always
use full
heat; and,
when ice is
removed,
return the
control to
the full cold
position.
Carburetor Heat ON
If operation is satisfactory on
either magneto, continue on that
magneto at reduced power and
full RICH mixture to first airport.

if the flight
can be
safely
continued
without
electrical
power. If

electrical
system
repaired.
WARNING
The
following
procedure
may
reenergize
the faulty
system.
Reset the
circuit
breaker one
at a time.
Allow a
short time
period
between the
resetting of
each
breaker. If
the faulty
system is
reinstated,
its
correspondi
ng circuit
breaker
must be
immediately
pulled.
