The Legalization of the Marijuana as Medicine in the

Philippines

 As of now illegal drug user of marijuana spreading throughout the world especially in
the Philippines. Do you think that marijuana can be approve to be a part of the medicine
without a hesitation that it can become worse of the issue if it is approved by the government?
Cannabis or also known a slang word "Marijuana". It is a dried leaves that can be a
narcotic smoke. It is also can be consumed in many different ways, such as smoking, using a
vaporizer, brewed as Cannabis tea, or by adding it as an ingredient in food. In 2700 BC the
marijuana is used for medical purposes where Ancient Greek and Egyptians use this to treat
body disorder. It is also one of the oldest psychoactive substances used by man. Today in the
part of America it is legal to use marijuana in a medical issues.
The senator pass a bill stating that the using of marijuana is will be a legal and become
a benefit in the patients suffering from weak medical condition. According to the National
Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). The marijuana have so many compound but THC or
tetrahydrocannabinol is responsible for psychoactive effect. THC binds to a cannabinoid
receptor throughout the body. When it's bind in to the brain regions, it is responsible for
pleasure , time perception and pain.
Some other effects of marijuana is relaxation and it can relieve pain for being "high".
Marijuana has been proven that it can also heal the pain and muscle spasticity. Marijuana
also can control nausea, stimulate appetite, increase heart rate, dilate blood vessels, fluctuate
blood pressure, decrease short-term memory, result to dry mouth, impair motor skills and can
cause reddening of the eyes.
In my opinion I would like to agree that this House bill 6517 to be approved in order to
become a legal medicine or aid the use of marijuana in our country even thought of the
negative effects of using this drug so if it is actually approved by the government chances are
it may become a bigger issue of using marijuana. Using marijuana can be either a good or a
bad effects in our body but that only depends on how a person is using it.

There are common biggest health problem in our community. To prevent or to cure
these kind of problem the senator think a way to surpass this kind of incurable disease . The
Senators pass a House Bill 6517 or the Philippine Compassionate Medical Cannabis Act.
Stating this bill that marijuana is allowing to be a part of medicine. Only a medicine to the
people who are given by a doctors certificate or approved. It is highly stricted to only use for
medicine and not for use for their recreational activities. If this bill become a law some of the
people who committing illegal usage of marijuana can be lowered.
For example the people suffering in depression who are buying in the black market to
use marijuana as their treatment. If this bill become a law there will be having a proper
medication and proper usage of marijuana that can't be harmful to the consumer.
There are evidences that Marijuana is a highly recommend to be a part of medicine in
the Philippines. According to the National Institutes of Health, people have used marijuana, or
cannabis, to treat their ailments for at least 3,000 years. The researchers in National
Academies of Sciences, Engineer, and Medicine found out that more than 10,000 scientific
studies on the medical benefits effects of marijuana. One of the benefit of this is to treat
Chronic disease that can cause being disabled of a person. Also the Researchers confirm that
Marijuana can help to kill some types of cancer or it can low and stop cancer cells from
spreading. They also found out that it can prevent Alzheimer's disease. The Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) Approved the use of medication containing cannabidiol (CBD) to treat
the types of epilepsy.
There are some of disease that not include or state but there are many benefits of
marijuana to be part of medicine. This paper are include the popular and incurable disease
that we do not know that the are another way to treat them by using Marijuana. Therefore
marijuana is popularly known for using it in illegal recreational usage and the other people
thinks that Marijuana is bad for health. The solution for that is the senator state the purpose of
the bill clearly with high and knowledgeable bill. And present a professionals that has a high
knowledge about Marijuana.

The house bill 6517 is not a bad thing after all . It helps the people who are suffering
from a heavy illness to become live with a happy to the fullest life. If this bill become a law the
Senators should be think about it twice to be passed there are people may suffer from it or
become a good benefit from it. The government should be prepared for this if this is become a
law.
Every people get older and older. When we get old we don't know who are those
people who can suffer some of this disease like Alzheimer, chronic. If this bill will become a
law. All people will benefit this kind of medicine. We are getting older, we do not know what
will happen next. It is better to become ready for the next generation. Prevention is better than
cure.
