Pilot Area

Isabela province is situated on the northeast coastline of the island of Luzon. As of in the
year 2015, Isabela has a total population record of 1.59 million. It is the second-largest province
among 80 provinces in the Philippines. It covers a total land area of 10, 655 sq. Km. It domains
over 3% of the Philippine territory and practically 40% of the Cagayan Valley region.
Isabela imparted the most number of farms with 129.7 thousand, covering 240.6
thousand hectares of agricultural land among the provinces in Cagayan Valley. In fact, the total
farms for the province accounted for 40.3 percent of the total farms in the region. Areas under
agricultural land comprised 22.6 percent of the total land area for the province. Its agricultural
land was the largest in the region where 44.5 percent of the total agricultural land area in the
region was contributed by this province. Isabela produces 15% of the total national rice
generation on a yearly premise
As the second most noteworthy rice-developing territory across the nation,. Being a
