1.2 Requirements
The bizhub FTP Scan application requires a bizhub A3 or A4 MFP with IWS 2.0.3 or later and firmware
equipped with an activated web browser.
Settings Button: click to go to the Administrator Login Screen to access the Type of Settings

Setting Description
Document Name The prefix of the scanned document name is by default "document_".
IP or Hostname Enter the proxy server address.
Use one of the following formats:
• example of host name entry: "host.example.com"
• example of IP address (IPv4) entry: "192.168.1.1"
Port If necessary, change the proxy server port number. Normally, you can use the original port
number.
[8080] is specified by default.
Username Enter the user name to log in to the proxy server.
Password Enter the password of the user name you entered into [Username]
Save Button: click to save the settings and go to Type of Settings Screen
The following information are used to setup the connection to the FTP:
Setting Description
Server Address Enter the host name or IP address of the destination FTP server:
• example of IP address (IPv4) entry: "192.168.1.1"
Port If necessary, change the port number. Normally, you can use the original port number.
[80] is specified by default.
Domain\Username Enter the name of a user who is authorized to access the folder specified in [Directory Name].
Password Enter the password of the user you entered into [Domain\Username].
Directory Name Enter the name of a destination folder in the FTP server specified in [Server Address]:
• example of Directory Name: "Scan"
Use SSL? When TLS is used in your environment, click the checkbox.
By default, the Use TLS is not checked, so no TLS is used.
Save Button: click to save the settings and go to Type of Settings Screen

Reminder
If the settings are not correct, an error message will be displayed.
When the list of folders is displayed you can choose one of the folders as the location for your scan by clicking
on the name of the folder.
Once you have selected the final folder, you can confirm your selection with the Checkmark Button in order
to go to the Scan Settings Screen where you can specify your preferred scan settings like resolution, file type
etc.

After the scan is started, the application will display the Home Screen again.
Click the OK Button to go to the Home Screen and start the scan job again.
Check the scan settings to see if everything is setup correctly.
