ASSIGNMENT 1

This is an individual assignment; it contributes 25% of the total marks for the
module.

UPON COMPLETION OF THIS ASSIGNMENT, STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE

ABLE TO:
Understand and apply rules of technical drawings

Assignment 1 (25 Marks)

a) Use geometric construction techniques to draw the object as shown in Figure 1 with correct
scale. All dimensions in the figure 1 are in millimeters.
b) Complete the drawing with full dimensioning, border line and title block.
c) Follow drawing rules and standards (lettering, title block, type of lines, dimensioning, etc.).
d) You must use pencil and drawing paper for draft of drawing. Then use drawing pen
and tracing paper for final drawing.
e) Submit both draft of drawing (drawing paper) and tracing paper together on October 25,
2019 in the class.
