Dear Cara Delevingne
I am so excited to give you a warm welcome to my beautiful country Colombia. My
name is Oscar Mauricio Pabon, me and my family are so happy to share our
humble home with you for the next months.
I live with my Mom and Dad, Delia and Gonzalo, we don't know much things about
New Zealand, so we really want to meet you to share a cultural literacy which is the
reason that we decide to enroll in this program, perhaps in the future, me and my
family flies to New Zealand.
We don't know much about New Zealand, but I have research some information
about New Zealand and I am amazed that your culture and my culture are totally
different, we don’t know that New Zealand is one of the less corrupt countries
around the world, but that’s all, we really want to know more, and how you live in
one island.
I want to know about my country? Well first of all I want to tell you about our
people, which are hardworking and happy, and we have many rivers, well, when
you have arrived we are going to have a travel in all the touristic places in
Bucaramanga.
The weather, we have the same weather all the year, there are not spring,
summer, autumn nor winter. Here is sunny, cloudy and rainy.
You can go to San gil, and the canyon of Chicamocha which has the most
interesting touristic places in Santander
Festivals? Do you want to go to the Carnivals? Well, we have the black and white
carnival in Pasto which is very cold because is located over the Andes mountain.
We have too the carnival in Barranquilla and here in Bucaramanga we have the
carnival in September, it is very amazing you can enjoy a lot.
Well, we expect you to come as soon as possible.
