Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone – Volume one

When I was 14 I heard that there is a very good book about a young wizard called
Harry Potter. As it was (1) ………….. by lots of friends of mine I decided to read it. They
were right. I could not stop reading.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is the first novel in the Harry Potter series.
These books were written by J. K. Rowling. They all (2) ………….. Harry Potter, a young
wizard. The first book describes how Harry discovers he is a wizard. Through the first book
he makes close friends and a few (3) ………… at a wizard school he starts to attend: the
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. With the help of his friends they stop an
attempted comeback by the evil wizard Voldemort, who killed Harry’s parents when Harry
was one year old.
