Active Citizenship SAP Stories for 10 Year Celebration

The British Council will use the information that you are providing for the purposes of showcasing SAP
Stories for Active Citizens 10 Years celebration event, and for the planning and administration of these
events. In order to deliver these services, we will pass this information on to other bodies, for example
conference venues and branding etc, in connection with the delivery of the event. Where appropriate this will
also be shared with the Active Citizens master facilitators and the organisations hosting the event. By giving
us sensitive information about yourself you consent to us using that information where necessary to ensure
equality of services provided for you and your safety at the event.

Where you have given permission for us to include your profile and/or email address, these will also be
shared with fellow participants and also relevant organisations and individuals involved in hosting the Event.

The British Council will hold this information for a period of 7 years from the conclusion of the event.

The British Council complies with data protection law in the UK and laws in other countries that meet
internationally accepted standards. You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold on you,
and the right to ask us to correct any inaccuracies in that information. If you have concerns about how we
have used your personal information, you have the right to complain to a privacy regulator.

i. SAP Title, Theme and Objectives
ii. What motivated you about the specific SAP topic/theme?
iii. What was your and your group’s background & experience on the SAP theme prior to
starting the SAP?
iv. How did you identify the issue? In which community?

2- OUTREACH: Who did you engage in your SAP? Government, Private
partners/donors, etc.? What was the gender ratio of people engaged or
involved? Also provide total beneficiaries and stakeholders, and describe
their roles.

3- IMPACT: How successful do you feel you were? To what what extent was
the issue resolved?

4- SUSTAINABILITY: Did the SAP continue beyond its delivery? To what extent
did the community or stakeholders take ownership? If you didn’t directly
continue it, what effects would we still see in the target community as a
result of your SAP?
