SUBJECT: Statement of Educational Goals Required for the Application Process for a Masters Degree

The Education Goals I have this this application are simply to enhance my life-long learning, provide
knowledge for today’s classroom, and to position myself for promotion for the next level of degree.

After graduating in 2006, I have continued to earn graduate hours, every year. Right now I think I have
around twenty or more hours.

Every hour I have earned has helped me in the classroom and those same hours have helped me
collegially. As I now apply for my Master’s Degree, those hours will prove to be invaluable towards
earning that degree and in competency for the classroom.

Once earning my Master’s Degree, this will force me to take a hard look at possibly teaching post-
secondary subjects, maybe aligning myself to coach at a post-secondary institution, or possibly going on
and earning either a Specialist or Doctorate degree.

Now is the time to take what I was doing anyway and turn that life-long learning into a degree that will
open so many more opportunities.
